Much missed, Darling Bruce.

Probably the saddest commission to have, but possibly the most joy possible from a picture for the owners.

This portrait of Bruce was commissioned as a gift for friend who had lost their very much loved Chocolate Labrador.

As you can see from the picture and the portrait, Bruce was a handsome chap, with a great sense of fun and barrel loads of love to give.

Originally photographed on grass, I knew that Bruce loved a good beach, so with the help of a good friend who went out and photographed beach scenes for me (from a dogs eye view) I managed to place him on a warm beach.
